The Apple standard EULA is your license

Your license to install and use RLS Log (the “app”) is Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”). The Apple EULA covers the licensed use of the app, the scope of that license, ownership and intellectual property, the disclaimer of warranties, the limitation of liability, the rules around export restrictions, and the role of Apple as a third-party beneficiary. We adopt it as the binding license between you and us.

These page-specific terms only add a short set of clarifications that are specific to RLS Log as a self-tracking app for restless legs syndrome. If anything below conflicts with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA controls.

Not medical advice

RLS Log is a personal tracking and reflection tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The app may surface patterns, correlations, and predictions based on the data you log — these are observations of your own data, not clinical recommendations. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional before making changes to your medications, supplements, diet, or treatment plan.

If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

Your data, your responsibility

You’re responsible for what you log. The app stores it locally and (optionally) in your iCloud — see the Privacy Policy for details. Because we don’t run a server, we cannot recover your data if you delete the app and your iCloud copy. Use the export feature in Settings → Data → Export to back up anything you’d be sad to lose.

Apple Health and clinical records

If you grant the app access to Apple Health or Apple Health Records (clinical data), you do so under Apple’s HealthKit framework. The data you authorize stays on your device. See the Privacy Policy for what categories the app reads and the narrow set it writes back.

Support

Support for the app is provided by us at rlslogappsupport@iacwb.com, not by Apple. As stated in the Apple EULA, Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish maintenance or support services for the app.

Changes

We may update these clarifications from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the Effective timestamp at the top of this page. Previous versions remain in this site’s git history. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated clarifications. The Apple EULA itself is updated by Apple, not by us.
